Although the full calendar of the WSOP 2015 will be not announced until January of the next year, organizers revealed several events that will be flagship in 2015.
The Main Event, for example, will begin Sunday, July 5 with three initial days and will extend for ten days until they determine the November Nine July 14. The tournament, again, will have ten million dollars to the winner.
This guarantee was incorporated in 2014 and was the Swedish Martin Jacobson which led the second-largest prize in the history of the Main Event (Jamie Gold was $12 million in 2006).
The 2015 WSOP will begin with a new and exciting event called The Colossus, with buy-in of $ 565 and $5 million guaranteed in the prize pool. The Colossus will be a tournament with re-entry and two initial days with two days of home every day. Players will start with 5,000 chips and blinds 25/50.
This tournament is intended to attract crowds in the week beginning the WSOP. The buy-in of $565 is the lowest that has had a WSOP event in the past 35 years.

World Series of Poker announced its next edition calendar. It will be held from May 27 to July 14, again at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
In January we will know if held the Championships $10,000 and formats, as well as the confirmation of the dates of the Main Event, the High Roller of the One Drop, the Poker Player’ Championship, the tournament heads-up and so many and so many other mythical events that liven up the summer to us.

The Colossus: a new $565 of buy in and $5,000,000 guaranteed event. You will have each two initial days with two shifts on 29 and 30 may, and there will be a shift to another but not within the same re-entries. It will be the WSOP tournament with smaller buy in in 35 years. Each player will receive 5,000 chips with blinds starting at 25/50 before and is expected to be the biggest tournament live in history.
Millonaire Maker: another massive event taking 1st on 5 and 6 June. Again with a buy in of $1,500 and $1,000,000 guaranteed for the champion, the MM’s difference that players begin with 7,500 chips instead of 4,500 of previous years.
Monster Stack: one of the most popular events of 2014 returns in 2015. The 1st will be on 12 and 13 June and the stack will once again be 15,000 chips. By 2014 this tournament had 7.863 unique registered and more than $10.6 million in prizes.
Seniors Championship: the event that grew in recent years, in 2014 had 4,425 players and saw Dan Heimiller to be $627.462. By 2015 it will play from June 19, and despite the low buy in of $1,000, each player will receive 5,000 chips. An event is also added for Super Seniors over 65 years at a date close to the Seniors.
Ladies Championship: format $10,000 buy in and a discount of $9,000 for the ladies is repeated and, as in the Seniors, will have a stack of 5,000 chips.
One Drop High Roller: after the triumph of Anthony Gregg in 2013 to 166 entries, the second edition of this $111.111 of buy in tournament will be played Sunday, June 28.
Little One for One Drop: this magnificent event here to stay in WSOP although with changes. Before the players were forced to pay the $111 of donation to One Drop. This year will be the buy in of $1,000 with 5,000 starting chips but receive 5,000 additional chips for $111 (to charity). The 1st will be 30 June at 10:00 and 16:00 and re-unlimited entries will be.
Main Event: of course we could not forget the most important event of all. With the same buy in, format and structure, the main event will be played from July 5 with three initial days and, again, $10 million guaranteed to the winner. [banner_abajo]
